Érico Lebedenco, MA, is a creative lead, art director and type designer with 20 years of experience bridging the gap between industry and academia. At his independent studio, he develops strategic projects in branding, packaging, editorial design and typography for global and national brands.
He holds a Master’s degree in Design from Anhembi Morumbi University and a postgraduate specialization in Typography from Senac São Paulo. His award-winning research on type revivals was published as the book "Resgate Tipográfico" by Blucher. Throughout his career, Érico has contributed to major agencies — including Futurebrand, a/b lab, Repense, Zaic Branding and Bamboo & Co — and received honors from the Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial (ADG Brasil), the Casa Brasileira Museum Design Award (MCB) and Prémios Lusófonos da Criatividade (international creative award for Portuguese speakers).
Currently, he shares his expertise as a Professor at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED São Paulo). He is the co-founder of the awarded videocast DiaCrítico and also a former board member for DiaTipo São Paulo, the premier international typography conference in Brazil.
